  • Thawing: Allow the product to fully thaw.  Place the product, still in the cryovac bag, in the microwave.  Puncture the bag with a few holes.  Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Carefully take the product out of the bag, cut the string, open the plaintain leaf, and enjoy.

    Boil:  Place the frozen cryovac bag in the boiling water.  Boil for 15 minutes. Carefully take the product out of the bag, cut the string, open the plaintain leaf, and enjoy.   

     

    Use caution when handling hot pasteles as content is extremely hot.
